Our Manifesto
Straightforward financial planning for you and your clients
Making the complicated simple isn’t as easy as it sounds. It takes a certain determination, a commitment to an original purpose and the ability to imagine a different way of doing things.
While this may not always be easy to achieve, we believe that concentrating on keeping things simple is worth the effort.
It’s about cash-flow forecasting: nothing more and nothing less.
Moneyscope is focussed on making cash flow forecasting quick and simple for advisers and clients.
We do that because we believe that cash flow forecasting is an invaluable asset for great financial advice. The ability to help clients understand and plan for their financial future is a vital part of the advice process.
So it seemed natural to us to make cashflow forecasting as straightforward as possible. That’s why we created Moneyscope: a cash flow forecasting tool which is quick and easy to use for advisers and produces visual illustrations for clients which help bring their financial future to life.
Swift, simple and easy to use
We’ve deliberately ruled out bells and whistles which are long-winded and surplus to requirements. This means that Moneyscope does what it says: helps advisers to moneyscope their clients’ financial futures quickly and easily.
Of course, there are other cash flow forecasting tools out there. In fact, we’ve worked with a number of them. And if you’re able to take full advantage of their features they are powerful tools. Nevertheless, we believe that there is room for a tool that is quick, easy to use and understand and doesn’t require extensive training.
As one adviser said to us “All clients really want to know is their net worth, IHT position and have a simple cash flow forecast. They don’t want an 80 page report and to spend lots of time to find this out.”
So this is what we’ve developed and – in the hope that we don’t sound too smug about it – we know that’s what advisers like about it.
We’re concentrating on making the complex simple. That’s the way we set out to build Moneyscope, that’s the way users like it and that’s how we’ll continue to develop it.
